Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Preparatory Course
The Japanese Language Proficiency Test is designed to evaluate and certify
the general language proficiency of non-native speakers of Japanese.
There are 5 levels (Level 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5). The test is comprehensive, including
vocabulary, listening, reading and writing Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji.
NIC offers courses at every level and our experienced teachers are ready to
help you succeed.

Criteria		 Simple conversation, reading and writing short sentences
Vocab. approx. 800 words Suitable for Beginners
Kanji 100 characters
LEVEL 3 Test
Criteria		 Daily conversation, reading and writing simple sentences
Vocab. approx. 1500 words Suitable for Beginners with lesson time of about 300 hours or more
Kanji 300 characters
LEVEL 2 Test
Criteria		 Common conversation, reading and writing general matters
Vocab. approx. 6000 words Suitable for Intermediate with lesson time of about 600 hours or more
Kanji 1000 characters
LEVEL 1 Test
Criteria		 Sufficient ability to communicate in the Japanese society
Vocab. approx. 10000 words Suitable for Intermediate with lesson time of about 900 hours or more
Kanji 2000 characters
Fee: 4,200 yen per hour per person for all the courses
* No free trial lessons available.
* Group lesson only.
* All courses commence throughout the year once two or more students gather to take lessons.
* Full tuition is payable at the beginning of the course.
